Taste of the NFL Hosts 12th Annual Ultimate Cowboys Tailgate

The North Texas Food Bank is grateful for your support in making Taste of the NFL a tremendous success! Gourmet tailgate fare, signature cocktails, live entertainment, silent and live auctions, and fun tailgate games were available for the North Texans in attendance.

 

Results indicate that there was a nearly 16% increase in revenue over last year’s event, an incredible feat for the North Texas Food Bank and all those who assisted in making this another remarkable event. Over $428,000 was raised, providing 1.28 million meals for those in need.

The field at AT&T Stadium proved the perfect space for this fun event.

Chef Kent Rathbun and more than 20 of the area's hottest chefs served gourmet fare in small portions for this tailgate party.

Texas country artist and song writer Jack Ingram entertained guests.

The event would not have been possible without the help of these fabulous volunteers!

2013 Taste of the NFL Exceeds Goal!

This year's Taste of the NFL: The Ultimate Cowboys Tailgate Party officially met its goal to raise over $200,000 to feed North Texas Children in need.

In fact, it exceeded it...

with $231,095 raised to benefit North Texas Food Bank.

The evening was filled with great food, friends, fun, music, and more importantly a focus on tackling childhood hunger here in our community.  The funds raised will help provide 693,285 meals to hungry children in North Texas.

The event returns to The Glass Cactus at the Gaylord Hotel on Sunday, April 21st at 6:00 pm. Join hosts DeMarcus Ware and Jason Hatcher, Abacus executive chef and proprietor Kent Rathbun, former Dallas Cowboys Preston Pearson, Daryl Johnston and Chad Hennings along with the area’s hottest celebrity chefs and Emerald City Band, as they transform this classic tailgate party into a party with a purpose.

Taste of the NFL meets goal for a touchdown!

This year’s Taste of the NFL: The Ultimate Cowboys Tailgate Party officially met its goal to surpass the $1 million dollar fundraising mark for funds collectively raised since this local effort began back in 2004!

A total of $195,523 was raised on Sunday, May 20, at the Omni Dallas. The eighth annual Taste of the NFL event was filled with great food, friends, fun, music, and most importantly a focus on tackling childhood hunger.

There were gourmet food stations set up around the ballroom with delicious dining from top chefs at popular area restaurants like Jasper's, Bob's Steak and Chop House, Whiskey Cake, The Place at Perry's, Legends Hospitality at Cowboys Stadium, and Private Social.  Thank YOU for helping provide 586,569 meals to hungry children in North Texas!
