The Style Scribe's Merritt Beck - What to Wear Where - The Crystal Charity Ball
Hey ladies, it's Merritt from The Style Scribe taking over Kim's blog today. Growing up, I participated in a number of debutante balls, charity galas, etc, so sharing my style suggestions for Saturday's Crystal Charity Ball was a no-brainer! When it comes to ball gowns, I'm a fan of classic, elegant looks. This dress immediately caught my eye and would make the perfect winter evening ensemble. The gorgeous green shade and feminine, fitted silhouette are just what I had in mind. Did I mention it's under $600? No need to break the bank. These strappy gold sandals by DVF would be comfortable and complement the look. Top the outfit off with a pretty pair of crystal earrings with emerald stones and a fancy clutch to match. If you are going to the ball, you'll definitely be prepared to dress the part!

Kid to Do at the Dallas Zoo is an exciting event that is modeled after Zoo to Do, the widely popular annual fundraiser featuring some of Dallas' finest chefs.
Proceeds from both events will enable the Dallas Zoological Society to continue in its mission to support the Dallas Zoo as an outstanding center of education, entertainment and wildlife conservation!

Other activities include giraffe feedings, bounce houses, a DJ, face painting, arts and crafts and so much more!

What to Wear Where: Stiletto Stampede for the Cure
The Stiletto Stampede for the Cure is a 100-yard high heel dash that encourages women and men to make healthy lifestyle choices, get screened on a regular basis and mitigate breast cancer fears through personal knowledge and education.

While the high heels are hard to beat, the best part of this event is that proceeds from the Stiletto Stampede for the Cure will benefit the local Susan G. What to Wear Where: A Polo Soiree benefitting The Child Brain Foundation
I love today's post, not just because its for a phenomenal cause, but because it gives me the chance to channel the Duchess of Cambridge and her impeccable style.
I swear this woman can do no wrong. Always glamorous, always appropriate, Kate Middleton makes dressing well look effortless, and she is the inspiration for this week's "What to Wear Where!"
The Child Brain Foundation is hosting a cocktail reception this weekend at the Prestonwood Polo and Country Club. There will be a polo match at 5pm including a champagne divot stomp!
Pretty Woman anyone? Here are our picks to look your very best "polo chic."
Throw on a chic floppy hat, some on-trend cat eye sunglasses, and a pair of espadrille wedges, and you are set!

What to Wear Where: Red Cross Tiffany Circle Presents "Cocktails and CPR"
Kimberly is constantly asked about appropriate attire for events. Being the lifestyle expert she is, she decided to put pin to paper... or in this case, type to blog!
Welcome to the "What to Wear Where" series! Every week we'll give you options for an upcoming event so you'll never again have to worry about what you're going to wear.
The Red Cross Tiffany Circle Womens group will host a "Cocktails and CPR" next Tuesday, April 24th and we are excited about it!
The attire is business-casual so any of the above pieces would be appropriate. Try a timeless sheath dress or add a to-die-for red Cartier watch. If you just want to add a pop of red, try a pattern like this pretty poppy blouse or a great striped scarf. Coming straight from the office? This red blazer and tote are the epitome of how to transition from work to play!
Now that you'll be dressed to impress, don't forget to stop by "Cocktails and CPR" for a night honoring such a important organization.
