Including access provided through SNAP application services, North Texas Food Bank provides access to nearly 175,000 nutritious meals every day. We have a network of more than 250 Partner Agencies and provide access to food at more than 1,000 feeding locations.

On Sunday, May 18th, join the NTFB team and our community to tackle hunger at the 10th annual Taste of the NFL. This legendary tailgate party will take place at Glass Cactus at the Gaylord Texan and will feature past and present Dallas Cowboys players, Abacus restaurant executive chef and proprietor Kent Rathbun and more than a dozen of the area’s hottest celebrity chefs. Support the North Texas Food Bank’s children’s feeding programs as you enjoy gourmet tailgate fare, signature cocktails and the chance to bid on a fantasy trip of a lifetime through live and silent auction. It’s a party with a cause! Since its inception in 2005, Taste of the NFL: The Ultimate Cowboys Tailgate Party has raised more than $1.34 million for hungry North Texas children. 2013 Taste of the NFL Exceeds Goal!

This year's Taste of the NFL: The Ultimate Cowboys Tailgate Party officially met its goal to raise over $200,000 to feed North Texas Children in need.

In fact, it exceeded it...
with $231,095 raised to benefit North Texas Food Bank.

The evening was filled with great food, friends, fun, music, and more importantly a focus on tackling childhood hunger here in our community.  The funds raised will help provide 693,285 meals to hungry children in North Texas.
SAG award-winning Actor and Star of TNT’s “Dallas” Jesse Metcalfe a.k.a. “Christopher Ewing” offered up lunch for two with him at Rathbun’s Blue Plate Kitchen as part of the Live auction bidding

The Ultimate Dallas Cowboys Tailgate Party Returns to The Glass Cactus


Get ready to tackle hunger at the ninth annual Taste of the NFL: The Ultimate Dallas Cowboys Tailgate Party, presented by Lockheed Martin.

The event returns to The Glass Cactus at the Gaylord Hotel on Sunday, April 21st at 6:00 pm. Join hosts DeMarcus Ware and Jason Hatcher, Abacus executive chef and proprietor Kent Rathbun, former Dallas Cowboys Preston Pearson, Daryl Johnston and Chad Hennings along with the area’s hottest celebrity chefs and Emerald City Band, as they transform this classic tailgate party into a party with a purpose.

You'll dine on delicious gourmet tailgate fare, signature cocktails and a fantastic live and silent auction - all while helping raise funds that will feed North Texas children in need!

Since its inception in 2004, Taste of the NFL: The Ultimate Dallas Cowboys Tailgate Party has provided more than 2.5 million meals to hungry North Texas children by raising vital funds for the North Texas Food Bank’s feeding and education programs.
