The T.J. Martell Foundation hosted the Best Cellars Dinner: A Food & Wine Experience Featuring Dallas’ Top Sommeliers on Thursday, May 9th, 2013 at Fearing’s in The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas.

The Best Cellars Dinner, chaired by Janie & Dave Hodges and Kendall & Derek Williams featured a four-course gourmet dinner by Chef Dean Fearing and selected wines by Sommelier Table Hosts, one exclusively for each table, which included:

The T.J. Martell Foundation will host the Best Cellars Dinner: A Food & Wine Experience Featuring Dallas’ Top Sommeliers on Thursday, May 9th, 2013 at Fearing’s in The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas. Dinner will begin at 6:30pm.

There will be a live auction featuring music and culinary experiences followed by an acoustic performance by Singer & Songwriter, Thom Shepherd, an Austin-based touring artist.  Proceeds from the Best Cellars Dallas event benefit the T. The Betsy Project- Cure Sarcoma Now

The Betsy Project is a grassroots fundraising effort in partnership with MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston dedicated to raise money for a rare form of cancer known as leiomyosarcoma (LMS).

The project was started when Dallas resident, Betsy Vincent was diagnosed with this disease in 2006. Betsy is a delightful, wonderful woman, mother, wife, friend and a big supporter in our community, not to mention determined. Her oncologist, Joseph Ludwig told her if he had $200,000 he could then hire a research team to give complete focus to LMS -- therefore that is what our community is trying to do. This could not only be a breakthrough for LMS patients, but could find treatments for all forms of sarcoma, too.

Please help support The Betsy Project and MD Anderson Cancer Center, not to mention others afflicted with the disease.
