Heart (at Home) for the Homeless with Josh Weathers

Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County (UGM-TC) announced that the "show must go on" as they prepare for their 6th Annual Heart (at Home) for the Homeless presented by GM Financial. Hosting the annual event during the COVID-19 pandemic caused UGM-TC to think much bigger. They will now be making this incredible fundraising musical event virtual, opening the doors for attendance across the country and even worldwide on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. Back by popular demand, Fort Worth's nationally recognized singer/songwriter, Josh Weathers, who will be presenting a virtual concert to be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home. Those in attendance will enjoy songs from his new album, Wild Ones, as well as old favorites. Like so many non-profits, UGM-TC is experiencing unanticipated expenses as a result of the pandemic. They are in need of support now more than ever. 2020 North Texas Turkey Trot

 

North Texas Turkey Trot is going virtual this year. The virtual run can consist of a 5K, 10K, 1-mile or whatever distance you would like. They will ship the participant shirt, running buff and bib right to you. 100% of the proceeds will continue to support the Miracle League of Frisco. Don’t want to run or walk, that's ok, there are even options to purchase merchandise or make a sleep-in donation to the Miracle League of Frisco.

Join the fun by virtually running or walking a 5K on October 3, wherever you are, to show your support for people with autism. Your fundraising efforts will empower the work to promote solutions for the needs of people with autism and their families – including those in urgent need of resources right now – and fuel continued commitment for Autism Speaks to create a kinder, more inclusive world for people with autism.

Every registered participant will be sent a commemorative event shirt and finisher medal to show off your accomplishment and support for a kinder world.
