TOOTSIES located at the Plaza at Preston Center hosted the 5^thAnnual Elisa Project Esteem A Fashion Show on Saturday, September 13^th.

Ms. Holly Pellham Davis and her daughter Landry Davis served as ESTEEM’s 2014 Co-Chairs with Brendan Higgins and Amy Vanderoff of WFAA’s Good Morning Texas serving as emcees with Nerissa Von Helpenstill, TOOTSIES Store Director, offering fashion commentary.

On a crisp, clear morning, guests enjoyed organic breakfast bites, beverages, Fall Fashion Show coordinated by Rhonda Sargent Chambers of RSC Show Productions and featuring celebrity models: Janine and Juliette Turner, Amy Robinson, LeeAnne Locken, Amanda Sterett Albritton with Anna Kate Albritton & Olivia Adams Sterett, Pam Skaggs Frank and Bridget Frank, Melanie Mills, Hilary Kennedy, Blake Stephenson& Cat Stephenson, Dawn Belcher Neufeld, Shannon D. The Trains at NorthPark Kickoff Party

The Trains at NorthPark 2014 co-chairs, Jamie Singer and Tia Wynne, are already on a roll with this major holiday fundraiser, with proceeds benefiting The Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. On May 14, they hosted a kickoff party at Kira Plastinina's gorgeous LUBLU boutique in the Plaza at Preston Center. More than 60 guests attended to shop, sip, mingle and snack.

 Jill Cumnock, CEO of Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, thanked Kira for hosting this lovely evening. Cumnock also announced 2014 Honorary Trains Co-Chairs -- Dr. Jeffrey Fearon and wife Regan. Dr. Fearon, a craniofacial surgeon, has treated many children who have stayed at the House.

The Trains at NorthPark will be on display from November 22, 2014 through January 4, 2015, with more than 1,600 feet of track and trains on a journey across America. Many families visit the exhibit each season as part of their holiday tradition.

A Year of Giving at The Plaza at Preston Center

Two fundraisers sponsored by The Plaza at Preston Center contributed $15,000 to local charities in 2013.

The September fashion show, Plaza Style, raised $10,000 for Children's Medical Center.  Additionally, the 17th annual Santa Days benefitted the North Texas Food Bank and raised $5,000 to help provide 15,000 meals for North Texas families in need.

Both checks were presented to the respective charities on behalf of The Plaza at Preston Center by Pamela A. Spadaro, CCIM Senior Vice President at U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management.

Plaza Style '13

Plaza Style '13 will take place next Thursday, September 19 at the new Plaza at Preston Center. Your favorite Plaza shops and restaurants are teaming up with emcees Amy Vanderoef and Ron Corning of WFAA Channel 8 for an exciting evening benefiting Children’s Medical Center.

In addition to an exciting fashion show, guests will enjoy live entertainment from Hunter Sullivan Band, indulgent cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from the Plaza’s restaurants, and a silent auction.

This year’s event also celebrates the new additions to the Plaza, including several new retailers and a new five-story office building which houses the University Park Public Library.
