Orphan Outreach Children's Hope Dinner Goes Virtual for 2021

 

This year, the Children’s Hope Dinner is a bigger celebration than ever as it goes VIRTUAL. 

For the first time, this evening of hope will be celebrated in the U.S. and around the world. 

Orphan Outreach, a global Christian ministry that provides holistic care, promotes family, prepares young adults for independence, and protects the rights of children.

Fifty years ago, the conversations around mental illness were almost nonexistent. Today, people from every walk of life are beginning to talk about the impact of not addressing mental health issues.

Off The Field Fashion Show held February 4th

On Friday, February 4th, The Players’ Wives Association hosted their 10th Annual Off The Field Fashion Show at The Fairmont Hotel. The association is made up of the wives’ of former and current NFL football players.

With many of their husbands in attendance, more than 30 NFL players' wives took the runway donning gorgeous clothing by local designer Abi Ferrin. Guests enjoyed the exquisite fashion, live and silent auction, and delicious brunch.

Pat Smith, wife of Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith, and Amy Vanderoef emceed the fashion show and presented the Off The Field Women of Impact Award to Janet Hill, Nancy C. Rogers and Marlo Thomas. In addition, the Danielle Beverly Courage Award was presented to Dr. Keisha Kirkland.
