Mosaic's 5th Annual Champion of Human Rights Gala

Mosaic Family Services' Fifth Annual Champion of Human Rights Gala will take place on October 2, 2014 from 6 to 9 pm at the Fashion Industry Gallery.
 
The gala will honor fashion designer, Mosaic supporter and anti-trafficking activist Abi Ferrin, whose Freedom Project helps create alternate forms of employment and hope for oppressed and trafficked women worldwide. Abi will be joined by emcee Amy Vanderoef of Good Morning Texas. Guests will enjoy beer, wine & spirits, hors d’oeuvres, 50/50 raffle, a fabulous silent auction and live music by the Hunter Sullivan Band.
 
50/50 raffle tickets are on sale now for $25 each or 5 for $100. Drawing proceeds will be split 50/50 between the winner and Mosaic. Winner need not be present at gala to win.

Inaugural Fashion for Freedom Fashion Show and Luncheon at Al Biernat's

The inaugural Fashion for Freedom is a fashion show and luncheon benefiting Mosaic Family Services in its efforts to combat human trafficking. 100% of proceeds will go toward building a new shelter to expand Mosaic's capacity to meet the ever increasing need for its services. 
 
Guests can shop the pop-up store inside the restaurant during the event.  A percentage of sales from the pop-up store will also benefit Mosaic.
 
The fashion show will feature designs from Abi Ferrin and introduce Juliette Longuet who is breaking into the Dallas market.  Hosted by favorite local restauranteur Al Biernat, the luncheon will also include remarks from the Honorable Mike Rawlings.

Off The Field Fashion Show held February 4th

On Friday, February 4th, The Players’ Wives Association hosted their 10th Annual Off The Field Fashion Show at The Fairmont Hotel. The association is made up of the wives’ of former and current NFL football players.

With many of their husbands in attendance, more than 30 NFL players' wives took the runway donning gorgeous clothing by local designer Abi Ferrin. Guests enjoyed the exquisite fashion, live and silent auction, and delicious brunch.

Pat Smith, wife of Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith, and Amy Vanderoef emceed the fashion show and presented the Off The Field Women of Impact Award to Janet Hill, Nancy C. Rogers and Marlo Thomas. In addition, the Danielle Beverly Courage Award was presented to Dr. Keisha Kirkland.
