Mission East Dallas (“MED”) is proud to announce its 1st annual benefit auction – Hats Off to Hope. The name of the new event is derived from MED’s slogan “Giving People Hope.” The HOPE acronym - “Healing.Opportunity.Peace.Empowerment” - is also used in MED’s print materials.

Mission East Dallas, located in East Dallas at Oates Drive and LaPrada, was established in 2002 to provide comprehensive, low cost medical and dental care to the low income and uninsured population in Eastern Dallas County. Medical, dental and spiritual care is provided to children and adults who would not otherwise have access to treatment and/or medicines. Since its inception, MED has served over 143,000 patients and provided a much needed medical home for patients with chronic diseases.
