Reservations are open for KRLD Restaurant Week!

The eagerly anticipated “Reservation Day” kick-off for the 15th Anniversary of KRLD Restaurant Week presented by Central Market began yesterday -- Monday, July 16. The heat is on to book sizzling dining deals at over 125 regional hot spots opening up tables, and currently accepting reservations for this popular gastronomic-dining event supporting the North Texas Food Bank and Lena Pope Home. Beginning August 13-19 North Texans can dine out and enjoy tasty three-course prix fixe menus during this summer fundraising tradition featuring dinner and new lunch reservations (at select spots).

Click here for 2012 Participant List and to receive the full dish on all KRLD Restaurant Week promotions and offerings – such as: “Preview” Weekend, Central Market’s popular Fourth Course certificates, wine pairings and specialty cocktail features, and much more! Spotlighting North Texas’ upscale dining scene, highlights include: longtime supporters Abacus, Del Frisco’s and Stephan Pyles; newcomers like Boi Na Braza and Private Social; and other popular establishments, including: III Forks, Al Biernat’s, Bijoux, Bonnell’s Restaurant, Fearing’s Restaurant – Ritz-Carlton, Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck, Fogo de Chão, GRACE, Lonesome Dove Western Bistro, Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, Shinsei, The French Room – The Adolphus, and The Mansion.

Helpful Reservation Tips:
To book a spot, diners can call the desired establishment and request a “KRLD Restaurant Week” reservation, or do so online at CBSDFW.com by following the link to OpenTable. Book early and be flexible; remember that popular places fill up fast and that smaller groups are often easier to seat. Dining out on a weeknight during off-peak evenings like Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday may also help ensure a prime table and time slot. Look for the many restaurants extending their participation by one or even two full weeks -- through August 26 or even September 2 -- opening up additional reservation opportunities.

Select Spots Now Serving Lunch!
Extending the tradition of KRLD Restaurant Week’s tasty three-course prix fixe dinners priced at only $35 per person (tax, tip and drinks billed separately), diners can also now satisfy their hunger for a fabulous mid-day meal. To celebrate 15 years of fine dining, consumers can test-drive the new Cadillac Lunch Experience sponsored by Oak Farms Dairy in 2012. Spotlighting some of North Texas’ hottest lunch locales, 35 select establishments will also feature a special three-course lunch menu for just $25 a person (tax, tip and drinks billed separately) during their participation in KRLD Restaurant Week.

For every prix fixe meal purchased, participating restaurants will donate a portion ($7.00 from every dinner and $5.00 from each lunch) to either the North Texas Food Bank in Dallas or Lena Pope Home in Fort Worth. The fundraising goal for this year’s event is $750,000 dollars, aiming to raise $50,000 over the record amount generated by diners in 2011 in support of our community.
