We are delighted to announce that this year’s speaker is Kirsten Haglund. As the 2008 Miss America, Kirsten adopted eating disorder awareness as her official platform. Her personal struggle with an eating disorder led her to establish the Kirsten Haglund Foundation which provides hope, networking, and financial aid to those seeking treatment and recovery from eating disorders. 
Special thanks to Co-Chairs Megan and Ryan McManemin and their wonderful committees for their hard work. All proceeds from the event will benefit The Elisa Project and will help to expand their community outreach and education programs and to provide increased resources, education, and support to the patients and families who struggle with eating disorders and the health professionals who care for them.
