Design & Dine combines art, design, food, music and fun into one incredible evening benefiting Vogel Alcove. The event begins with a VIP reception and Ambassadors of Hope Awards Ceremony and continues with delicious food, drinks, live artist performances, virtual sports gaming, photo booth, and entertainment by the World Piano Man, Martyn Lucas. There will also be a raffle, silent auction with unique prizes and a wine pull station.

The Ambassadors of Hope Awards were created to honor individuals and organizations that support Vogel Alcove’s mission to help children recover from the traumatic effects of homelessness. This year’s honorees are:

Willie Baronet of WeAreAllHomeless.org is the Doris Budner Honoree for leadership in advancing the Vogel Alcove mission

Oliver Wyman, the Thelma Vogel Honoree for vision and collaborative efforts in advancing services to homeless children and families

The Partners of DSVP strengthen North Texas through the thoughtful application of their collective dollars and business expertise. Working in concert with nonprofit staff and board members, Partners’ pro bono business expertise, alongside with financial investments, is deployed to help nonprofits build capacity and become sustainable for the future.

DSVP invests in promising nonprofit organizations that serve at-risk children and/or support educational achievement in North Texas.

Food for Thought

Food for Thought is an annual celebrity chef charity event presented by The Dallas Association of Young Lawyers and It’s a Cooking Party. Proceeds benefit Big Thought, a creative learning organization striving to make imagination a part of everyday learning for children. Big Thought’s overall goal is simple: to make imagination a part of everyday learning. In supporting Big Thought, we are helping give children access to creative instruction and hands-on learning during school hours and beyond, all year long.
