Paint It Forward -- A Major Success!

Taylor's Gift recently shared the great news and results of their recent Paint It Forward campaign.

Your purchases and painting of OPI's Taylor Blue nail polish helped spur conversations around town and on social media about organ donation.

The thousands of bottles shipped across the globe enabled Taylor's Gift to commit nearly $40,000 to their Legacy Gift program, directly impacting families and individuals touched by organ donation.

The polish is still available online at Taylor's Gift store: http://taylorsgift.org/store/
Increasing official organ donor registries is just the beginning of their purpose. They work to change the conversation about organ donation to a positive one by focusing on life. The Taylor's Gift team hosts events, delivers speaking engagements, provides scholarships to graduating seniors and encourages grassroots fundraisers like the Paint It Forward initiative.  Their mission is to educate audiences about organ donation and the gift each of us has within to "Outlive Yourself."

Taylor's Gift Featured in People Magazine

Locally based organization Taylor's Gift was recently featured in People Magazine's "Heroes Among Us" article. Taylor's Gift founders Todd and Tara Storch are seen with heart recipient Patricia Navarino-Winters. What an honor for the Foundation to be featured in this major publication.

Taylor’s Gift Foundation is dedicated to a life changing mission to increase organ donation to regift life, renew health and restore families. By focusing on increasing certified organ donations in the United States and worldwide, the foundation has become a positive force in changing the conversation about organ donation: Outlive Yourself.

Taylor’s Gift Foundation was founded in April 2010 following the unexpected death of 13-year-old Taylor Storch. During the past two years, Taylor’s parents and foundation founders Todd and Tara Storch have appeared on numerous national programs including “Good Morning America,” “World News Now with Diane Sawyer,” “Today” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” enlightening audiences on the power to outlive yourself. Taylor's Gift continues to inspire millions.

The Limelight: Taylor's Gift

Taylor's Gift Foundation is a Coppell-based non-profit organization that encourages organ donation. The foundation was formed in honor of 13-year-old Taylor Storch of Coppell who died in a tragic accident last March while skiing with her family at Beaver Creek during Spring Break. Taylor helped five people with the gift of her organs. Now Taylor's legacy lives on through the inspiration of her foundation.

Many people think they are organ donors when in fact they are not. Why not make sure, by following the donor process and seeing if you are registered.

YOU can be a hero today! It only takes 90 seconds to become a donor. Click here for the Texas registry.

Be a part of the Taylor's Gift movement. Give now through a monetary donation OR give the gift of time. Contact GetInvolved@taylorsgift.org to learn more about volunteer opportunities!
