The North Texas Summer & Supper Council ensures that every child has access to healthy meals in summer, addressing a vital need for hard-working families that rely on the federal nutrition programs during the school year. This program helps local meal providers raise awareness, increase meal sites and more effectively address child hunger in our community.
Volunteers can help bring awareness to these sites through their own social media outlets. Volunteers are also able to purchase from an Amazon wish list link below that directly benefits one of the partner meal providers, Unique Pieces. This list includes various healthy and delicious snacks so children throughout the summer always have full bellies and big smiles.
Volunteers can serve at a local food pantry or summer meals site through CitySquare to ensure all children, families, and individuals in our community receive nutritious meals this summer.
