A disco inferno is lighting up in Fair Park this Sunday, May 19, 2013, as the inaugural DISCO 5K and 10K RUN kicks off, bringing disco fever to Funkytown! This inaugural event will feature a $100 BEST DISCO COSTUME AWARD for both men and women runners, DJ-manned Disco Aid stations, and post-race party with disco music and live band, hot pancakes, and giant disco medallion award ceremony.
The DISCO RUN, produced by Dallas Athletes Racing, benefits Nobody's Normal, a non-profit supporting mental health awareness. www.nobodysnormal.org
Registration is still available at packet pick-up locations and at the event. 5K is $50 and 10K is $55.
