Dallas Cowboys "I Promise" Merchandise

The Dallas Cowboys and Susan G. Komen for the Cure are asking fans and supporters to join the promise that launched the breast cancer movement through a new partnership known as “I Promise”.

Cowboys’ owners Gene and Jerry Jones were inspired by their long-standing friendship with Komen Founder Nancy G. Brinker and wanted to honor the release of her new book, Promise Me, to be published September 14.

Fans can purchase special “I Promise” co-branded merchandise at Dallas area Albertson’s locations, at http://www.shopkomen.com/ and in official Cowboys’ merchandise stores around the metroplex.

Fans visiting Cowboys Stadium will see their favorite blue and silver adorned with a touch of pink at the three home games played during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October. In celebrating the Cowboys 50th Anniversary this season, each game will feature an honorary captain(s) from past decades. Komen Founder and CEO Ambassador Nancy G. Brinker will join Charlyn Aikman, a breast cancer survivor and mother of former Cowboys Quarterback Troy Aikman, on Sunday, Oct. 10 as they serve as Honorary Team Captains during pre-game events, prior to the kick-off against the Tennessee Titans. Komen for the Cure will also have a pink presence at the Oct. 25 and Oct. 31 home games with support of sponsors Bank of America, Pepsi and Ford.

Here are some ways that YOU can promise to help end breast cancer forever…
