The Limelight is on the Make-A-Wish Foundation that traces its beginnings to one boy's wish to be a police officer. Today, more than 160,000 wishes have been given & granted to children fighting life-threatening illnesses. Our very own chapter in North Texas, focuses on helping those in our immediate geographic territory.Children may wish to visit their favorite beach or amusement park, meet their favorite athlete or movie star, or even wish for a tree house. Whatever their hopes may be - families, medical professionals, volunteers, and donors avidly work together to make these wishes come true. We are very lucky to have such a dedicated staff here in North Texas, working each and every day to bring each child's dream to life.
