Each guest selects a one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted bowl from a local artisan—a powerful reminder that not every bowl is full, and together, we can help fill them.

Our very own Kimberly Whitman was able to tour the North Texas Food Bank yesterday and gain an inside peek into the amazing work completed there each and every day. This year, Kim will be co-chairing the Food 4 Kids campaign with Joyce Goss and Katherine Perot Reeves, hoping to reach the million dollar mark this year!

I've been following the North Texas Food Bank on Twitter and found they are currently holding a promotion with Kroger. From June 6-19th, Kroger and the North Texas Food Bank are hosting Bringing Hope to the Table where "shoppers can purchase special products with yellow tags at neighborhood Kroger stores with a portion of the purchase price supporting the North Texas Food Bank’s efforts to feed hungry families, children, and seniors in our community." Sadly, the summer season is when children in need are the most hungry as they are not assured a daily school meal. So, grocery shop and feed not only your family, but those at a table that is more than likely, much more sparse.
