Chefs for Farmers NEW event: The Butcher Block Party

The Eye at The Joule Hotel, 1530 Main St., Dallas

Some of the country’s most celebrated “meat loving” chefs will come together for one night at The Eye at The Joule Hotel for a new Saturday night party during this year’s Chefs For Farmers.

 

The Butcher Block Party will feature over a dozen chefs in stations around the park showcasing incredible butchered-inspired dishes to enjoy. Along with the meat offerings, patrons can sip local beer, carefully paired wines, and crafted cocktails by area bartenders including Michael Martensen from Proof + Pantry & the new Madrina, plus special guest bartender Alba Huerta from Julep Bar in Houston.

Card sellers, retailers, friends and sponsors will gather in celebration of the Partners Card 2014 program and honor the 22 years of dedication that has made this fundraiser what it is today. The evening will be filled with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and giveaways. Following remarks, the celebration will continue with progressive shopping, as guests will receive 20% off at some of the finest retail shops in The Joule including: Traffic LA, ESPA, Tenoversix and The Taschen Library

How do you play?After cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and sample puzzles, teams of six players venture to select sites throughout the venue to solve puzzles, games and riddles. Judges tally the scores during dinner, and teams who solve the most puzzles in the shortest amount of time receive special prizes and bragging rights!
Is it your typical fundraiser?
The Hunt is a change of pace from a traditional gala and a great excuse to put on your favorite casual clothes and comfy shoes to raise funds for a worthy cause – ChildCareGroup.
Is there an ideal team?
The Hunt is a creative way to strengthen management teams, develop client relationships, or just have fun with family and friends. Whether you have hunted before or not, all teams finish the Hunt invigorated!
Is there a winner?
Token prizes are awarded for teams with the most correct answers in the least amount of time, but the real treasure is the fun of the chase and the excitement of uncovering solutions.

The Joule is throwing a Halloween party on October 30^th from 9:30 pm until midnight at the pool. Tickets are $95 and include hors d’oeuvres and cocktails throughout the night.
