Nicky's Week Returns to Ra Sushi

RA Sushi at Shops at Legacy will host its ninth annual “Nicky’s Week” fundraiser Sunday, May 26, through Saturday, June 1, to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, one of the world’s premier centers for research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

RA will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of a variety of menu items and beverages to St. Jude to help support the hospital’s lifesaving mission.

Nicky’s Week was developed in memory of St. Jude patient Nicholas “Nicky” Mailliard, of Scottsdale, Ariz., who lost a long battle with brain cancer in February 2005 at the young age of 13. A nephew of one of RA Sushi’s founders, Nicky held a special place in the hearts of RA Sushi associates throughout the organization. RA Sushi initiated the fundraiser to honor the memory of Nicky and to raise awareness and funds for St. Jude, where no child is ever turned away because of a family’s inability to pay for medical treatments.

For the month of October, RA Sushi will donate 100% of profits from the sale of this special during the month-long promotion to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. (NBCF), whose mission is to save lives through early detection and to provide mammograms for those in need.

The special includes a glass of ONEHOPE California Chardonnay and a Signature Pink Roll. The Pink Roll features shrimp, kani kama crab mix & sriracha combined with lettuce, avocado & cucumber wrapped in soy paper & served with a pink strawberry sauce.

This offer is from October 1-31, at all 25 Ra Sushi locations - including Shops at Legacy.

7th Annual Nicky's Week

Join RA Sushi for our 7th Annual Nicky's Week, a week-long fundraiser benefiting cancer research and treatment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

From May 29th - June 4th, all 25 RA Sushi locations - including the local restaurant at The Shops at Legacy in Plano - will donate 100% of the proceeds from the sale of Edamame, Tootsy Maki, Shrimp Nigiri, Pork Gyoza, Tuna Tataki, Chicken Yakitori and select beverages to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
