Mayoral Candidate Forum at NTFB

What:
Mayor Candidate Forum Hosted by the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) Nonprofit representatives, NTFB Member Agency clients and community advocates like you will be able ask questions and listen to candidates' prepared remarks about hunger, poverty, nutrition, education and other related issues. Forum participants include all currently declared candidates David Kunkle, Ron Natinsky, and Mike Rawlings. An invitation to participate has been extended to recently declared candidate Edward Okpa, as well.

Why:
Because 1 in 3 children in the City of Dallas live in poverty; 40% of NTFB Member Agency clients must choose between paying for food or paying for medicine or medical care; 57% of NTFB Agency clients must choose between paying for food or paying for utilities; and the number of people served by the NTFB Agency pantries each month, on average, would fill the Dallas Cowboys Stadium 2 1/2 times.
