DFW Restaurant Week is back for its 30th year and offering a great deal while also supporting long-standing charity partners, the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) and Lena Pope. From August 10th through September 7th foodies can enjoy a month of delicious dining experiences for lunch, dinner, and brunch at top restaurants across the Metroplex. 

The excitement starts July 16th with Reservation Day. On that day the official list of participating restaurants is revealed and reservations open.

As North Texas’ largest culinary event and the nation’s second-longest running restaurant week campaign, most restaurants will extend their dining options for additional weeks. Some restaurants even offer a head start on dining with DFW Restaurant Week Preview Weekend August 6th – 9th.

Explore a variety of cuisines with premier restaurants across Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, and Denton counties through an expanded selection of anniversary prix-fixe menu dining options, including brunch and Signature Experience dinners. Approximately 20% of the cost of each meal will be donated to NTFB in the Dallas area or Lena Pope in the Tarrant area.

From August 4th to August 31st, 2025, foodies can enjoy a month of delicious dining experiences for lunch, dinner, and brunch at top restaurants across the Metroplex.

Some restaurants even offer a head start on dining with DFW Restaurant Week Preview Weekend from July 31st to August 3rd.

DFW Restaurant Week Starts Monday 8/5

Clear your calendar! DFW Restaurant Week – the Metroplex’s largest annual culinary event – kicks off on Monday with nearly 160 local restaurants serving up delicious prix fixe meals benefiting the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) and Lena Pope. 

Diners can explore Dallas-Fort Worth one bite at a time during the 28th annual DFW Restaurant Week, with a full month of dining Aug. 5 through Sept. 1. 

Although DFW Restaurant Week officially kicks off August 5th, diners can get a head start with Preview Weekend at select restaurants Aug. 1-4. 

Dine out and give back at restaurants across Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, and Denton counties offering exclusive prix-fixe menus for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Diners can explore Dallas-Fort Worth one bite at a time during the 28th annual DFW Restaurant Week, with a full month of dining Aug. 5 through Sept. 1. The culinary excitement begins on Reservation Day, Monday, July 8, when the list of participating restaurants is unveiled and reservations open for August dining. 

Although DFW Restaurant Week officially kicks off Aug. 5-11, diners can get a head start with Preview Weekend at select restaurants Aug. 1-4, and extend dining at most eateries through Sept. 1. Dine out and give back at more than 100 restaurants across Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, and Denton counties offering exclusive prix-fixe menus for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. Approximately 20 percent of the cost of each meal will be donated to NTFB in the Dallas area or Lena Pope in the Tarrant area. 

Dining options include: 

• Dinner –Three-courses for either $49 ($10 donated) or $59 ($12 donated)

• Signature Experience Dinner –- $99 ($20 donated) – Exclusive VIP experience created by select restaurants. Features may include signature cocktails, chef’s table or additional courses crafted for an especially memorable meal. Timing varies

• Lunch - Two-courses for $29 ($6 donated) at many restaurants

• Weekend Brunch –– Two-courses for $29 ($6 donated) at many restaurants

DFW Restaurant Week 2020 Extends Through Sept. 27 in Select Restaurants

DFW Restaurant Week 2020 officially kicked off the week of Aug. 31–Sept 6, with most restaurants extending participation for additional weeks, through Sept. 27. The official list of participating restaurants can be seen at:

This year’s campaign features dine-in and new take-out options for three- course prix fixe dinners for either $39 or $49, and two-course lunches for just $19. Diners can get a free additional course with a FedEx Office | DFW Restaurant Week Fourth Course Certificate. For each meal purchased during the campaign, 10 percent will be donated to NTFB (greater Dallas area) or Lena Pope (Tarrant County). Restaurants will adhere to the current safety guidelines.

Although NTFB and Lena Pope have been hit with unprecedented demand and financial impacts during this challenging time, the longtime DFW Restaurant Week charity beneficiaries are giving back by taking a smaller donation -- 10 percent vs. previous 20 percent -- in order to better help participating restaurants that have loyally supported their missions over the years. 

Inaugural DFW Restaurant Week Food and Wine Festival

The first-ever DFW Restaurant Week Food & Wine Festival presented by VisitDallas.com will officially kick-off the 19^th annual DFW Restaurant Week presented by Your Metroplex Cadillac Dealers with two-evenings of food and fun. Attendees will enjoy a variety of culinary experiences by top restaurants, domestic and international wines, cocktails and more.  Live entertainment by Big Bad VooDoo Daddy (Friday) and Magic! (Saturday.)

It’s time for Metroplex diners to mark their calendars for

DFW Restaurant Week 2014, presented by Central Market: August 11-17, 2014.

As benefiting charities the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) and Lena Pope Home get ready for this summer’s 17th annual hottest dining event, DFW Restaurant Week is also celebrating the more than 125 restaurants and thousands of diners who participated in last year's campaign, raising more than $754,000 to support the organizations’ work in our communities.

2013 AIWF Wine and Food Pairing Contest Winners

The American Institute of Wine and Food (AIWF) Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter, in conjunction with DFW Restaurant Week presented by Central Market, announced the winners of the 2013 AIWF Wine and Food Menu Pairing Contest for the annual summer dining campaign that supports the North Texas Food Bank and Lena Pope Home.

Truluck’s seafood, steak and crab house restaurants in Dallas and Southlake took first place in the AIWF Food & Wine Pairing Contest for DFW Restaurant Week 2013, with Truluck’s Master of Cuisine Chef Brian Wubbena and wine professional Dave Mattern.

Second place in the AIWF contest is awarded to The Grape Restaurant with Chef Danyele McPherson and wine professional Courtney Luscher. Third place is awarded to the Abacus team of Chef Daniel Burr and wine professional Robert Hall.  Second and third place winners will each receive a monetary reward from AIWF.

AIWF D/FW Chapter explains that contest entries are judged on how effectively the menu describes the dishes, and how well the wines are paired to the menu items. Six to eight culinary professionals with extensive knowledge and/or education of food and wine individually judge the menu entries.  Judging is “blind” with as much anonymity as possible to ensure unbiased decisions.  First place winners each receive a $2,000 scholarship from the AIWF D/FW Chapter for expenses and tuition to attend a class of their choice at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley, including lodging facilitated by Glazer's. This is the fourteenth year for the contest.

Dedicated to offering a variety of fine dining experiences at the hottest restaurants for a great value, DFW Restaurant Week organizers say that the new $45 dinner option provides a way for chefs to feature specially priced menus that are representative of their restaurants’ established high-end cuisine, at a time when the food costs are at a premium. Restaurants will choose to offer either $35 or $45 dinner menus and will be categorized on the DFW Restaurant Week website by pricing, for simple selection by diners.

A major charity fundraiser supporting the regional community, DFW Restaurant Week (formerly KRLD Restaurant Week) raised a record $760,000+ for the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) and Lena Pope Home last year alone – representing a 9 percent increase in funds raised compared to the previous year.
