Peace, Hope, and Butterflies

On June 2, 2012 from 3-6 PM, Miracle Players Foundation will be holding its second annual Peace, Hope, & Butterflies family fun festival and butterfly release at Flag Pole Hill in Dallas, TX. The event will benefit childhood cancer research at Children's Medical Center in Dallas' Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. Join us for pony rides, a petting zoo, bounce house, rock climbing, face painting, live entertainment, and more.  Plus get the opportunity to witness the release of 500 butterflies by area childhood cancer patients. Admission is FREE. See you there!

YTAC BubblyQ

BubblyQ will be held at Fearing’s at The Ritz-Carlton Dallas on Thursday, October 13, from 7:00-10:00 PM. The event is chef-chaired by Dean Fearing, one of Dallas’ most celebrated chefs. Guests will sample dishes from 12 of the best chefs in the area and enjoy champagne, cocktails, music, a raffle, and an incredible silent auction. All proceeds from the event will benefit YTAC (Young Texans Against Cancer) and their 2011 beneficiaries, Children's Medical Center's Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders and Medical City Children's Hospital's Camp H.O.P.E.

In the 20 years since this tournament's inception, research has increased the cure rate for children's cancer by 30%. Today, nearly 80% of chioldren diagnosed with cancer are cured. Your fundraising support helps make cures possible.

Players who raise money can also win prizes like a $500 gift certificate to the Shops at Willow Bend and one week at John Newcombe's Tennis Ranch. More prize information is available here.
