Linsey and Ryan Nixon, Leigh and Russ Johnson, Adair and Clark Webb, chairs of the Journey of Hope LEAP Global Missions Gala 2024, are delighted to announce community and business leaders Denise and Ray Nixon and Meredith and Scottie Scheffler as honorary chairs.

The community is invited to attend the gala on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at the Dallas Country Club and learn more about the nonprofit as they share news of past and ongoing missions, awards, recognitions and updates on future plans.

The evening will feature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed by a three-course seated dinner. LEAP is dedicated to enhancing and enriching the lives of people around the world by providing free specialized medical and surgical services inspired by the love of Christ.
Founded over 30 years ago by Dr. Craig Hobar, LEAP Global Missions volunteers have performed over 10,000 surgeries on patients (mostly children) from 24 countries. LEAP is committed to developing long-term relationships with its patients, their communities, and other partners involved in its missions. By returning to the same countries, LEAP builds trust, offers ongoing education, and continues caring for those who need long-term medical services.
