Dallas Design District’s popular craft brewery, Texas Ale Project, has yet another fun and creative event on their fall roster. After celebrating their 6th Anniversary on Dallas’ craft beer scene with a 4-day TAP Fest in June, TAP has announced that they will host Somethin’ Bacon – A World Food Championship qualifier event – in early fall on Saturday, September 18th, 2021.
Somethin’ Bacon will take the place of the previously held Somethin’ Cheesy event that TAP has previously hosted. They have partnered with the World Food Championships and will host the Bacon qualifying round at the brewery.
This unique event will have live music, food truck(s), and judging for the bacon competition. And who doesn’t love bacon?
Culinary enthusiasts from all over the
metroplex will come together as they prepare their best bacon dish or food item
to win the popular vote, and a chance to compete in the World Food
Championships coming to Dallas in November 2021.
