The Red River Celebrity Softball Game is holding a contest to give away four VIP tickets to the fundraising event to benefit the Lone Survivor Foundation. The winner will enjoy four tickets for luxurious suite accommodations at Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, Texas.
The Red River Celebrity Softball Game to be held October 12, 2017, will include alumni from the University of Texas playing against rival alumni from Oklahoma University. The teams will also include amputee combat veterans representing the various military branches. The event will kick off the Red River Rivalry Weekend in Dallas.
Leading the University of Texas team will be UT Alumni: Frisco Mayor, Jeff Cheney; MLB pitcher, Roger Clemens; and NFL players Vince Young and Ricky Williams. Oklahoma University's team will be led by the following OU Alumni: Country Recording Artist, Toby Keith; NFL standouts Tommie Harris, Mark Clayton and Juaquin Iglesias. For a full roster, click here.
"This is going to be a fun event to support our cause that restores, empowers, and renews hope for our wounded service members and their families through health, wellness, and therapeutic support.
