Dirk Nowitzki has conquered basketball, sold out charity baseball games and will now show off his skills on a different court. The NBA All-Star and Dallas Mavericks legend returns to his first love – tennis – hosting the second-annual Dirk Nowitzki Pro Celebrity Tennis Classic on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the SMU Tennis Center (5669 N. Central Expwy., Dallas).
Joining Dirk for the charity tennis tourney are beloved actor and Dallas native Owen Wilson, Dallas Stars legend Mike Modano, tennis legend Andy Roddick, Dallas Mavericks player J.J. Barea, and current and former world-ranked ATP players Mark Knowles, Tommy Haas, Donald Young, Benjamin Becker and Michael Russell.
Proceeds will benefit the families and children affected by Hurricane Harvey. Mark Cuban will match the proceeds up to $2 million!
Spectator tickets to the tournament are now $41 for adults and youth, and free for children 3 and under. Parking is available at the Mustang Parking Center (6001 Bush Ave). For details go to dnfoundation.org, and purchase tickets at ticketmaster.com.
