Cuisine for Healing (www.cuisineforhealing.org),
a nonprofit organization dedicated to making nutritious, delicious food readily
available to cancer patients and others combating disease, is preparing for the Sixth
Annual A Night on the Wilkie Way, the organization’s largest fundraising event,
held annually and named in honor of Cuisine for Healing founder, the late Wendy Wilkie . The event will be held on Sunday, September
21, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Reata Restaurant, located at 310
Houston Street in Fort Worth.
The evening’s festivities will include tasting bars with large
selections of Reata’s famous cuisine, all prepared to Cuisine for Healing certification
guidelines, cocktails, live musical entertainment provided by 3 Fools on 3
Stools, door prizes, a live auction and more. Scott Murray will emcee the event. Tami Morrison is the 2014 event
chairperson. Honorary co-chairs are Maurice Guidry and Stephanie Atkins-Guidry.
Individual tickets to the 6th Annual A Night
on the Wilkie Way are $75. Reserved tables for 2 are $140, reserved tables
for 4 are $275 and reserved tables for 6 are $400.00. To purchase tickets or
