Amid gorgeous jewels and delicate, golden bone-shaped
necklaces, the SPCA of Texas held a reception at Matthew Trent Jewelry on
Wednesday, February 5 to celebrate Mary Spencer and the incredible
contributions she has made as a former board member and chair. James Bias, SPCA of Texas President and CEO,
announced that the organization’s clinic in South Oak Cliff was renamed the
Mary Spencer Spay/Neuter& Wellness Clinic at Village Fair in Mary’s honor. Delicious
hors d’oeuvres and wine were provided by R + D Kitchen.

Matthew Trent donated 20% of all purchases made that evening
to the SPCA of Texas in Mary’s honor. Special thanks to Matthew and Lori Trent
for hosting the party and for their generous gift of a golden, bone-shaped
necklace to Mary.
