The T.J. Martell Foundation, music industry’s largest foundation that supports leukemia, cancer and AIDS research hosted their inaugural Sports & Entertainment Celebrity Golf Classic on Monday, June 10 at Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas, Texas.
Legendary Recording Artist, Charley Pride hosted the tournament. Pride has helped the foundation through the years in their quest for raising funds for research.

Emceed by Robin Treadway of Manheim’s Auto Auction, guests enjoyed golfing on the Championship Course, followed by a pool side BBQ dinner and music by local artists Ray Johnston, Mark Collie, Neal McCoy, Ronnie Bowman, Janie Fricke, Hayes Carll and Bobby Cyrus. A live auction featured an Epiphone guitar autographed by Charley Pride, a VIP Experience to the County Music Awards in Nashville and the opportunity to host 19 guests at a Texas Rangers game in the private suite of majority owner Bill Simpson.

Proceeds from the event benefited the T.J. Martell Foundation which is the music industry’s largest Foundation that funds cutting-edge leukemia, cancer and AIDS research at twelve top research hospitals in the United States. In Texas, the Foundation supports the Physician-Scientist Program at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Sponsors included CAA, SESAC, PerryHVAC, Ray Johnston Band, Skimpy Mixers, Beverly Drive, francisco+co and FluffPop.
