History with a Twist

History with a Twist is a celebration of classic American cocktails, created by noted Dallas Mixologist Michael Martensen of Cedars Social and Smyth.  Attendees may stroll down Dallas Heritage Village’s charming Main Street and visit various cocktail stations until 10 p.m., while enjoying heavy hors d’oeuvres by Wendy Krispin Caterer and entertainment by the Singapore Slingers. Beer and wine will be available for purchase until event ends at 11 p.m. Proceeds will benefit building restoration.

Highlights include:
· Period music by Singapore Slingers, local fox trot orchestra 
· Dancers from the Rhythm Room will teach and perform dances from the 20s to the 40s
· Vintage attire from Prohibition and early 20th century encouraged. Costume accessories will be available for sale!
· A silent auction featuring dining and wine packages, along with some special Texas Road Trips
· Photo booth on site to document the occasion
· Atmosphere to spare with silent movies playing in the background, a vintage car display and the opportunity to put your friends in “jail”(and have them bail their way out), and more!

Tickets: $75, includes cocktail samples until 10 p.m. and heavy hors d’oeuvres. (Beer and wine also available for purchase); $100:  Premium ticket includes free valet parking and an individual membership to Dallas Heritage Village; $175: Couple Ticket includes 2 tickets, free valet parking and an individual membership to Dallas Heritage Village.  Underwriting levels available from $15,000 to $1,500.
