Our community lost a giving leader and true friend with the passing of Shelley Shwiff last week. She courageously battled breast cancer for nine years and was surrounded by family and friends when she left us. Shelley was the type of woman that everybody loved. She had a heart full of care and love for others. She touched so many people in the Dallas community with her warm smile and upbeat attitude. Shelley put her soul into helping others through Children's Cancer Fund. She served on the Board of Directors, Advisory Board, chaired the Luncheon and was still giving herself to the cause until the very end. She truly made an impact in the lives of children who were also battling cancer. She had a selfless attitude that made everybody she met love and respect her. Shelley will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
