Rebuilding Together - Greater Dallas Chapter and the Dallas Mavericks Charity Challenge!

The Dallas Mavericks are teaming up with six North Texas Charities to present the "Mavs Charity Challenge" during the 2010-2011 season. Six select Mavericks games will give fans six opportunities to support non-profit organizations that make a difference in the community. Rebuilding Together Greater Dallas has been selected by the Dallas Mavericks to be a part of the Mavs Charity Challenge!!!

Rebuilding Together Dallas is excited to be chosen as one of six North Texas charities to benefit from the generosity of the Dallas Mavericks during the 2010-2011 season. The Dallas Mavericks will donate $5 for every ticket purchased through the special link created for Rebuilding Together Greater Dallas and the organization that generates the most tickets sold for their night will receive an additional $2 donation from the Mavs for each ticket sold. Only tickets purchased through this unique link will be eligible for the challenge.

'Neath the Wreath Holiday Market Celebrates 15 years!

The Junior League of Plano is having their annual Holiday Gift Market at the Plano Center on November 11th to the 14th. This is always a fabulous event with one of kind vendors. There is a Preview Shopping Event on Thursday, the 11th and that evening is Ladies Night Out and it is always a major event with over 800 women attending. There will be some "hot Santas" at Ladies Night Out to add to the fun. Please get your tickets ahead of time before they sell out!
General admission tickets can be purchased at all Collin County Tom Thumb stores. For safety reasons strollers, carts, wagons and rolling bags are not allowed at the busy market.

An Evening at the Derby benefiting CITY House

This second annual fundraiser for City House a shelter for children and young adults will be held at the Westin Galleria Hotel in Dallas and hosting the event is Jody Dean from KLUV.
Proceeds from this event will provide critically needed monies to help continue to fund City House and it's programs. It is the only safe enviroment for teens ages 10 to 17 and is the only teen homeless shelter in Collin County. It provides crisis intervention and counseling services to children and youth and their families.
