The Wilkinson Center strives to help people find their way out of poverty. The organization has distributed more than 5 million pounds of food since its inception. It also offers GED, ESL, and computer and financial literacy classes, as well as after-school programs.

St. Jude Hospital Event Announcement

The St. Jude Children's Hospital was recently ranked as the nation's top children's cancer hospital U.S. News and World Report. On June 9th at the Winspear Opera House, the St. Jude Hospital announced their top ranking as well as event dates for their two fall fundraisers.

The St. Jude Evening Under the Stars Party will be held Friday, October 29th and the St. Jude Derek Harper Golf Classic is to take place at the Stonebriar Country Club on October 18th.
