Join Genesis for the Official Launch of Noah's Magic Shoes!
Saturday, November 6th
Noon - 4pm
NorthPark Center

Level 1 NorthCourt area between Nordstrom and Macy's

Purchase the book for only $20 at the event or online here. 100% of proceeds benefit Genesis Women's Shelter. Each book you purchase at the event gives you a chance to win some amazing raffle prizes: Southwest round-trip tickets, one-month pass to Jay's Boot Camp, Flip video camera, La Duni cake, and more!

Festivities will kick off at noon with a presentation of Noah’s Magic Shoes to the Dallas Public Library. Book readings will take place every half-hour and will feature the story-telling talents of Janie Bynum, co-author and illustrator; Jan Langbein, Executive Director of Genesis; Leigh Anne Haugh, President of the Junior League of Dallas; Mother Goose and more. In addition, Janie Bynum will also sign copies of the book, and there will be a craft area for children.

Noah’s Magic Shoes tells of a particularly horrible day for Noah Malone and how a simple act of kindness changes his life. Although the book is not set in a shelter, the story was inspired by a real Noah who came to Genesis and proclaimed the new shoes he had received – his first ever new pair – were magic shoes.
