Inaugural Cookies and Castles Frisco - Gingerbread House Decorating

 

Join the North Dallas Area Delta Delta Delta Alumnae Chapter for the Inaugural Cookies & Castles Frisco! This Gingerbread Decorating Extravaganza originated in Fort Worth in 2001, has grown to Dallas and other cities across the country and has now made its way to Frisco.  It is a holiday tradition cherished by many where friends and families gather for fun and festivities.

Due to COVID-19, the 2020 Cookies & Castles Frisco event will now be a drive-through and pick up event.  You will be able to pre-order your gingerbread house with all the necessary supplies (including icing and candy!) and bring the festivities home to safely enjoy with your family and friends.

Proceeds from Cookies & Castles Frisco will benefit Scottish Rite for Children as well as the Tri Delta Foundation.

Cookies & Castles

Celebrating its 12th year, Tri Delta Cookies & Castles is a two-day Gingerbread Extravaganza. Each December, families and friends gather to decorate gingerbread houses and cookie men. Participants select delicious decorations from the famous “Candy Bar” filled with 5,000 pounds of sweet treats. 

The first day event is an annual ladies luncheon where decorating houses and cookies has become a treasured tradition for those who attend. 

The second day of gingerbread decorating is Cookies & Castles Family Day. This day is a true multigenerational event where parents and grandparents bring children of all ages to experience the magic of the season. Families can choose a morning or afternoon seating for this event. 

Both days include photos with Santa, raffle items and plenty of holiday music.

Each seat comes with a regular-sized gingerbread castle, icing complete with decorating tip, endless amounts of candy, a cotton two-pocket apron, and a gourmet sandwich buffet lunch from East Hampton Sandwich Company.

 

Family Day

1:00 - 3:00 pm

Gather the kids in your life and bring them to a gingerbread extravaganza like no other. Each seat comes with an extra-large castle or gingerbread man cookie, icing, and all the candy their little hearts desire.

The Richardson/North Dallas Alumnae Chapter of Delta Delta Delta will hold their third Cookies & Castles Gingerbread Extravaganza on Saturday, December 11, 2010, benefiting Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. The event will feature Gingerbread Men and Gingerbread House decorating and is open to families and friends of all ages. Visions of sugarplums hardly compare to the confectionary splendor of this gingerbread house and gingerbread man decorating party. This event is a fun-filled way to usher in the joy & spirit of the holiday season-for kids of all ages, family and friends!
