2019 Chrysalis Ball

We are pleased to announce the 2019 Chrysalis Ball, presented again this year by Capital One, to be held on Saturday, October 19th at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Convention Center in Frisco. This is the 16th year for the single largest funding event, providing for programs that change the lives of the thousands of youth served by Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County. Chrysalis means the process of transforming from the cocoon stage of a caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly. This is what BGCCC accomplishes in the children’s lives, with your support.
This year's theme is "We are the Champions", and represents Building Great Futures for today's youth that need a voice and a champion.
Guests will be treated to an evening of fine dining including all refreshments, dancing and the opportunity to participate in live and silent auctions. Capping off the evening is Emerald City Band, best live party band in the land, and the Casino After-Party.
A highlight of the evening is the Sponsor-A-Child program. Your participation enables them to support over 3,260 members and with summer and outreach programs, impact over 10,120 children annually.

The Limelight - Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County

Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County provides a safe, positive place for children ages 6-18 years old every day after school and all day in the summer. They serve over 5,500 Collin County children through membership and outreach. Children participate in the program for only $25 annual membership fee... and no child is ever turned away for the inability to pay. They keep kids off the streets, out of trouble, and engaged in positive behavior.

The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County: to enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.

The majority of BGCCC's members are identified as at-risk based upon some or all of the following factors:
-living in impoverished conditions
-living in chaotic environment
-at risk for dropping out of high school
-living in distressed neighborhoods
-living in single-parent families
-would otherwise be "latch key" kids without after-school supervision

BGCCC focuses on three core areas of development - academic success, character & leadership, and health & life skills.

Results:
