If you think pop-up shops are fun, Eddie "Lucky" Campbell and Michael Martensen are opening a pop-up speakeasy close to the Bishop Arts district. The pop-up, Bar 828 opens tomorrow and will be open for three consecutive weekends. According to the Dallas Morning News, "other high-profile bartenders also plan to participate, says Campbell, including Dub Davis of Marquee Bar and Grill, Sean Conner of Whiskey Cake, Omar Yeefoon of the People's Last Stand, Brian McCullough of Sfuzzi and Standard Pour, Kyle Hilla of Bolsa, Brad Hensarling of the Usual Bar in Fort Worth and the entire crew of the Cedars Social." The bar will mix and serve an array of pre-Prohibition cocktails.

A portion of proceeds will benefit the Promise House, a local charity embracing homeless and runaway teens. There will be food trucks nearby each night and also a DJ, J.T. Donaldson. Read more on the Dallas Morning News website here.

When: 6 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday beginning Thursday, Oct. 13 (for three weekends)
Where: 828 W. Davis, Dallas.
* No phone, no website -- kind of like a speakeasy.
