2011 Dallas Symphony Orchestra AT&T Gala featuring Joshua Bell



The striking sound of a Stradivarius violin in the incomparable hands of Joshua Bell will herald the 2011 Dallas Symphony Orchestra AT&T Gala, which will feature the prodigy violinist in concert with the legendary Dallas Symphony Orchestra and led by celebrated DSO Music Director Jaap van Zweden. Benefiting all of the symphony’s programs, including education and community outreach, the AT&T Gala is the DSO’s premiere event for the 2011-2012 season.

The 2011 Dallas Symphony Orchestra AT&T Gala, a black-tie event, will be held on Saturday, September 17 starting at 6 p.m. at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center located at 2301 Flora Street. Those interested in attending are encouraged to purchase tickets early. Individual Gala tickets start at $1,250, tables start at $10,000, Concert/After-Party tickets start at $125, and sponsorship opportunities are still available.

All the Raj - Dallas Symphony Orchestra

The 2011 Dallas Symphony Orchestra AT&T Gala will be held on Saturday, September 17th at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.

Returning for a second Gala season with the DSO, internationally acclaimed violinist Joshua Bell will perform Bruch’s Violin Concerto in G minor. The program will also include world-renowned Music Director Jaap van Zweden. Anna-Sophia van Zweden returns as Honorary After-Party Chair and Todd Fiscus of Todd Events will be in charge of the exotic Moroccan-inspired theme, “All the Raj.”

2011 will be AT&T’s 11th consecutive year of title sponsorship for the Gala, the DSO’s largest fundraising event.
