Early Voting is Now Open!

Voting is one of the most powerful duties we as citizens hold. For this General Election, voters will be deciding who represents their community in about 30 different races – from County Sheriff to State Representative to U.S. Senate. Make sure your voice is heard and VOTE! Here are a few things to know before you vote:

  • Early voting is open through October 30: Dates and hours may vary depending on where you live. Check your county’s election department website for dates, hours and locations.
  • Be an educated voter: See who's on your ballot, learn about the candidates and determine who you want to vote for all the way down the ballot ahead of time. This year’s ballot is expected to be quite long (30-60 pages!), so set aside some time to do your research! Did you know you can bring a list of the people you plan to vote for, as long as it’s not a partisan flyer?
Dates to Know:
October 23: Deadline to request to vote by mail.
October 13-30: Early Voting. Dates and hours may vary. Check your county's election department website -- Dallas, Collin, Rockwall, Denton, Tarrant -- for dates, hours and locations.
November 3: Election Day
