Bryan’s House Continues to Provide Unique Programming to Families

During this time of crisis, Bryan’s House is still providing all programming to at-risk parents and their children with special health & education needs – online, virtually 24/7.  They are coordinating therapy and parent trainings with and for the kids, so not to lose important milestones in their progress.

Bryan’s House is also partnering with other non-profit agencies, if they encounter a family that fits their mission. They can help with case management.  Bryan's House bilingual case managers are working night and day to meet client, parent and caregiver needs.

They are especially focused on those kids with special needs.  They know that population well, especially 0-3 years.

The organization has moved every program online, and they are currently overseeing 800 people for mental health help, basic necessities, food and medicine for children, baby items, training parents, connecting them to jobs at VNA, stocking grocery shelves, and so much more through workforce solutions. Having conversations with parents, regarding stress-relieving techniques may prevent abuse in the home.

Comments from Families

"I don't feel so isolated. I know I can call or text my
case manager if I am feeling overwhelmed, or can't cope.

"My daughter misses her teacher -
connecting this way is a lifeline for her and me."

"My son said, 'what's wrong with everyone mommy'?
He's young, but he knows something has changed'.

COVID-19 emergency funding will help families to stay the course.
