The 4th Annual Spring Concert of
Muses is produced by the founders of Park Cities School of Music and Lakewood Conservatory of Fine Arts. The production
showcases the gifted instructors who teach and propel the musical talents of
students throughout the DFW Metroplex. Pianists, violinists, singers, and dancers
will perform a variety of musical genres. And as a grand finale a ballet dancer
and painter will adapt a performance to an original piano composition played
live by PCSOM founder Eva Brandys.
This year the program format evolves to
welcome three special guests and an open mic. Mark Landson, founder of Open
Classical—an organization that brings classical music into the heart of every
day popular culture, will perform on violin. Dallas Neo-Classical Ballet
performing troupe will demonstrate their modern choreography and Jasmine Barnes
of the Dallas Opera Chorus will sing soprano. Open Classical will also lead an
open mic session to follow the conclusion of the concert. Open mic welcomes
professional and amateur musicians to play
anything related to classical music. From violin solos to opera arias to string
quartets and horn concertos.
$10 cover fee with a portion of proceeds
benefiting The Omni Project which provides humanitarian aid
and education to children affected by war. Savory bites, water, juice for kids and wine
provided. All ages welcome. Pay at the door.
