Allison's Hope Foundation Hits $1 Million

Now in its tenth year, Allison's Hope Foundation reached a monumental goal of raising $1 million for cancer research at Mary Crowley. On November 3rd, 2014, Allison's Hope Foundation presented a check in the amount of $100,000 to the Mary Crowley Cancer Research Center. Mary Crowley's Strategic Development Director, Pat Brown said, "Today was a celebration for all cancer patients who, through cutting edge research were given another chance for extended survival. Without the focus, determination and generosity of Allison's Hope Foundation over the past 10 years, this would not have been possible for many patients. Allison and her foundation have truly changed lives."

Allison's Hope Foundation is currently auctioning a fully restored 1964 Chrysler Imperial Convertible.  The car was donated by Allen Cassens and all proceeds go to funding cancer research. The bidding ends February 1, 2015! You may place your bid at www.allisonshope.com/imperial

The foundation also has an ongoing effort raising money throughout the United States; in partnership with Cassens Transport and Volvo, Allison's Hope Foundation launched the HaulHope effort. An auto transport truck and trailer that is hard to miss as it was painted pink and emblazoned with Allison's Hope Foundation and HaulHope graphics. For this initiative, truck drivers were selected not by seniority, but because they are cancer survivors or have family members battling cancer. A portion of the proceeds the truck generates goes to fund cancer research. To learn more about this effort and to see where the truck has been, visit www.haulhope.com
