Tim McGraw Awards 100th Home Through Operation Homefront

Country music icon Tim McGraw wrapped his SUNDOWN HEAVEN TOWN 2014 Tour last weekend in Texas, marking the end of another blazing summer tour with capacity crowds drawing rave reviews from critics throughout the summer.

The final run featured a surprise appearance by McGraw's wife and country superstar Faith Hill as she stunned the crowds in Dallas and Houston by joining him onstage for a performance of "Meanwhile Back At Mama's" (featuring Faith Hill) which is quickly moving up the Top 5 of the country radio charts.

Additionally, as the tour wrapped this weekend McGraw awarded the record 100th mortgage-free home to a military veteran and their family as part of his HomeFront program. McGraw partnered with Chase and Operation Homefront to award mortgage-free homes to veterans in need at each tour stop and over the course of three years they have now awarded 100 homes in total.

McGraw's upcoming Big Machine Record's album, SUNDOWN HEAVEN TOWN, will be available everywhere on Sept. 16.   Another track, "Diamond Rings And Old Barstools, "  is now available for download. For more information, visit

Operation Homefront's Back to School Brigade™ program, which distributes back-to-school supplies to children of military families, is in its eighth consecutive year. Operation Homefront staff and volunteers are distributing backpacks full of school supplies to military kids across the nation. Made possible through the generosity of Dollar Tree Inc., Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), RetailMeNot, eBags, Veterans United Foundation and Eckrich, the program primarily serves children of the lowest-paid service members, the E-1 through E-6 enlisted ranks.

When the program concludes in late August, more than 100 distribution events will have been held nationwide and approximately 44,000 backpacks distributed.
