PurpleStride DFW 2013

On Saturday, November 9, 2013, more than 3,000 people will walk and run to raise funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer, the fourth leading cause of cancer death in the United States.

PurpleStride DFW 2013 will benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, the national organization creating hope in a comprehensive way through research, patient support, community outreach and advocacy for a cure.  Participants will be able to take part in the 5K timed run or make strides during the 1-mile awareness walk.

This year’s event will be held at Klyde Warren Park, one of Dallas’ newest icons, and feature a day of family friendly festivities and music. Registration will begin at 8:00am with the 5K beginning at 9:00am.  Registration as an individual or team is available online at www.purplestride.org/dfw.
