Chairman’s Spotlight
Sponsored by William Noble Rare Jewels
Featuring:
Rebecca Fletcher
of the Dallas Theatre Center

As we all know how important the Dallas Theatre Center is within the society, we recently sat down with Rebecca to help bring light and recognition to the upcoming season of events.
This blog post is sponsored by the ever so lovely William Noble Rare Jewels.

What makes the Dallas Theater Center so special to you?
Live theater has the power to spark imaginations, encourage dialogue and transform lives. By taking residency in the middle of a thriving arts district, creating a vibrant and welcoming environment, engaging with artists and our audience, and collaborating within the community, DTC wants the theater to be a “public square” where people truly can come together and engage one and another in stories that was relevant to their lives.

With fall quickly approaching, what are some of your favorite Fall time activities to do here in Dallas?
I love the State Fair, college football (especially UT) and enjoying the cooler weather with dinner on the patio. My husband loves to grill out.

How do you spend your free time when you are not working?
I love reading, traveling and spending time with friends and family. We just got back from a two-week family safari to Tanzania, which was truly amazing!

Who is it that inspires you to do bigger and better things?
My parents, Bess and Ted Enloe. Both of them have been involved in philanthropic work since I was a child. My mother is a past Chairman of DTC and a Life Trustee; my father has been deeply involved in Trinity Ministries and the VNA. Both of them have taught me the importance of giving back to your community and that one person can make a difference in this world.

What are your favorite quotes?
“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” Oscar Wilde

“Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” Mahatma Gandhi
