Afternoon Cooking Class for GALT

Celebrated Executive Chef Chris Ward hosts an afternoon cooking class Saturday, September 29 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The Mercury benefiting The Greyhound Adoption League of Texas (GALT).

Cost is $60 for per person.  Coveted VIP seats (only eight available) get a front row seat at Chef Ward’s cooking bar ($100).  Ticket price includes one drink ticket (additional beverages at cash bar), cooking demonstration and tastings with Chris Ward and goody bag.  Bid in the silent auction for artwork, spa and restaurant gift certificates, dog services, custom jewelry and more.
Chris Ward is executive chef/partner for Dallas' award-winning restaurant, The Mercury, a multi-million dollar restaurant acclaimed nationally for Ward's imaginative culinary flair.  Serving from a changing menu, Chef Ward uses influences from French and Mediterranean cooking to present award winning new American cuisine.  The Mercury offers a sophisticated atmosphere nestled within the comfort of a neighborhood favorite and is part of M Crowd Restaurant Group. 

Suzanne Burke, author of Logan's Secret, and Logan the Greyhound will be at The Mercury for a special book signing. Pick up a ‘pawtographed’ copy of the newly expanded 2nd edition, which now includes 20 pages of greyhound facts and fascinating greyhound history.
