Salvation Army Fashion Show & Luncheon

The Salvation Army's Doing the Most Good With Your Clothes Fashion Show "Remembering the Past... Looking to the Future" will be held this Monday, April 30 at The Fairmont Hotel.

The event was founded in 1990, and since then, through continuing generations of caring and service, The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary has raised $5.25 million for The Salvation Army's programs and ministry in the DFW area.

Margot Perot's vision 18 years ago continues to thrive as philanthropic women donate their couture clothing to be sold at the fabulous runway show and at the very popular Chic Boutique, an onsite store where women can search through racks of designer labels to find just the perfect look!

Honorary Chairmen: Karen Jones and Lori Jones.
Co-Chairs: Mary Lee Cox and Therese Rourk

Therese Rourk, Captain Michele Matthews, Mary Lee Cox, Susan Drake, President of Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary

Over the past decade, the show has been produced by premier fashion producer, Jan Strimple. Jan's ultra-creative gifts, power of influence, love of avant-garde shock, and intense work ethic have created her reputation as one of the most sought after fashion show producers in the industry. The 80's runway model and big-time-Dallas personality produces over 70 events each year!

For this unique event, Jan will create a fashion show using gently worn or never worn clothing and accessories donated from the most fashionable closets of the best dressed ladies in the Metroplex, including clothes from the Nancy Hamon Estate. New clothes have been donated by Betty Reiter, Tootsies, Elements, Stanley Korshak and Turtletique.

Following the Fashion Show & Luncheon, the remaining couture and designer items will be sold at the WEARhouse Sale that will be open to the public!
