Eric Nadel’s Birthday Benefit Concert To Benefit Two Local Charities

Eric Nadel, the well-known voice to Texas Rangers fans, has served as the Texas Rangers Radio Announcer for the last 33 years. He is also a four-time winner of the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association Texas Sportscaster of the Year Award. In celebration of his birthday this year, he is partnering with CONTACT and To Write Love on Her Arms, to put on the “Eric Nadel Birthday Benefit”. Eric and wife Jeannie plan to use this event to highlight the work of these two agencies and how they are impacting lives throughout Texas.

Opening act is the Ray Johnston Band bringing their unique blend of gentle melodies and explosions of funk, blues and jazz.  Following their performance, Nashville-based recording artist Daphne Willis takes the stage as the evening’s headline entertainment. Willis’ pop/rock/blues tunes style and a voice that has been compared to that of Carole King and Adele have garnered her standing ovations during past performances at the Kessler. The evening also features a silent auction.
