Zoo to Do 2011, held in the Giants of the Savanna and Wilds of Africa Plaza at the Dallas Zoo on November 5th was a huge hit. Everyone came decked out in Hollywood Safari Chic to celebrate the Zoo during its 20th Anniversary fundraiser. Throughout the evening guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvres from Neiman Marcus, food tastings prepared by Honorary Chef Jim "Sevy" Severson and a team of 23 of Dallas' top chefs, and live music from Emerald City. The money raised from the evening is a major source of funding for the Dallas Zoological Society. The proceeds go directly towards daily operating costs for the zoo including education, entertainment and conservation of wildlife.
